DIY Herbal Ayurvedic Oil Blend for Hair Growth

DIY Herbal Ayurvedic oil is a potent hair oil that, when used consistently, results in thicker, healthier looking hair.

This potent natural hair oil blend has the following hair benefits:-

  1. It boosts blood circulation to the scalp, stimulating growth.
  2. It strengthens hair strands, for thicker hair.
  3. It adds lustre to your hair, making it look healthier.

Ingredients

  • X 1 tbsp of dried Rosemary
  • X3 tbsp of hibiscus powder
  • X1 tbsp of dried cloves
  • ¼ cup of fenugreek oil
  • 1 cup of olive oil (or a preferred carrier oil of your choice)
  • Vitamin E oil

Method

1. Pour the olive oil into a clean mason jar.
2. Add (all) the herbs to it, and stir gently to mix.
3. Boil water in a pot, place a bowl into it and then using the double boiling method, lower the Mason jar with the ingredients into the bowl.
4. Let it simmer for 10 minutes, occasionally stirring the oil.
5. Set aside to cool. Once it has cooled, seal the jar and store in a cool, dark place for 8 weeks.
6. After this period, sieve the oil using a sieve or a cheesecloth and then transfer to a clean applicator bottle.
7. Add a few drops of Vitamin E oil to this mixture, and then shake to mix.

Your oil is ready to use.

Storage

Store your oil in a cool, dark area.

Usage

DIY Herbal Ayurvedic oil can be used in your LOC/LCO routine, to oil your scalp and hair.

You can also use it as a scalp massage oil, as well as in your hot oil treatment to stimulate hair growth.

Add a few drops into you DIY hair mask for that extra nourishment, as well as in your leave-in conditioner.

To make sure that you do not have any allergic reactions, do a patch test on your skin first before applying to your scalp. Rub this oil inside your elbow and wait for 24 to 48 hours to see how your skin reacts to this oil.
