Ingredients

  • X4 tablespoons of shea butter
  • X2 tablespoons of hibiscus oil
  • Optional: X2 tablespoons of preferred essential oil

Instructions

1. Scoop the shea butter into a mixing bowl and using the double boiling method (on medium heat), melt the butter mixture, stirring occasionally for 15 – 20 minutes. Set aside.

2. Then add the hibiscus-infused oil to the melted shea butter and cover with a lid, before putting it in the freezer for 10 – 15 minutes.

3. Remove the bowl from the freezer (you will notice that the oil has slightly hardened) and transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl. Using a hand mixer, mix thoroughly for 5 – 10 minutes, until the butter has a cream-like consistency.

4. Optional: Add a few drops of your preferred essential oil and mix it for 1 – 2 minutes, before transferring the butter to a mason jar.

It is now ready for use.
