Benefits of Rose Water & Glycerine Hair Spritz
This hair spritz has all the excellent ingredients needed for proper hair care.
Honey acts as a natural humectant, drawing moisture into your hair strands. It also has antibacterial properties that can help soothe scalp irritation.
Yoghurt contains lactic acid, which exfoliates the scalp and helps to remove dead skin cells. It can also strengthen hair follicles.
And lastly, Olive Oils is a rich source of fatty acids, which nourish and moisturize hair. Its penetrating properties allow it to deeply condition the hair shaft.
As a hair mask, honey, yoghurt & olive oil have the following properties. It:-
🌺 moisturises and hydrates your hair;
🌺 strengthens and repairs thin, brittle hair;
🌺 gives great definition to your curls, coils and kinks;
🌺 adds shine to your hair; and
🌺 promotes overall healthy, strong afro-textured hair
Ingredients
- X 2 cups of rose water
- X 3 tablespoons of glycerine
- Optional: 5 – 10 drops of Rosemary / Clove Essential Oil / Peppermint oil (or your preferred essential oil).
For longer or shorter hair, you can double (halve) the ingredients accordingly.
Steps
1. Pour the rose water into your hair spray bottle.
2. Add the glycerine to the bottle
3. Shake to mix thoroughly
The hair spritz is now ready for use.
Application
1. Spray the mist on your hair daily, from root to tip.
2. Massage into your hair and scalp for a few minutes, until thoroughly moisturised.
You can follow up with Shea butter / a sealant of your choice (depending on whether you follow the LOC or LCO regime).
Bonus Tip: This hair mask is very hydrating and should you be in protective styling or prefer to do so, you do not need to follow up with a sealant.
Storage
Store this hair mask in your bathroom cabinet, at room temperature.
Recommendation
This mask is best used once a month, during your deep conditioning routine.
Should you suffer from dry, brittle hair, you can apply this X2 a month, for at least 2 months (if your hair is not protein sensitive).

Add X2 tablespoons of Aloe Vera juice to this mixture for added shine, as well as extra nourishing and detangling properties.
Allergens
Be on the lookout for any allergic reactions or sensitivities to make sure your hair agrees with this hair mask.
Also, if your hair is protein sensitive, do not apply more than once a week.
