*Pssst, for a comprehensive list of some everyday things that you can do to improve your mental health, catch up on our 46 Activities for Better Mental Health in 2025.
1. Move in silence
Move in silence. Do not announce plans, but only show results
Set goals for yourself and only talk about them when they are done. Doing this allows you to learn and grow from your mistakes without outside noise.
2. Learn how to do your own make up
One way to feel great about yourself, is to show up looking good.
Depending on your personal taste, learning how to do your own make up can boost your self-confidence. If you are not big on make up, you can focus on only one facial feature, like your eyebrows, lips or foundation – and learn how to properly enhance it to have you showing up as the best version of your daily.
3. Dress up as a sexy diva / queen bee for an outing
When was the last time you dressed up and felt like a movie star?
Why not gift your confidence this extra boost by showing up as your sexy or queen bee version to some events? Go through your wardrobe and make a date for when you can wear some of the clothes that remain unworn in your closet.
4. Take a Hike
Being outdoors and in nature is one of the ways to fast-track mental health. It is also good for your physical health, as well as a way to connect with your spiritual side.
